Positioning a tank

I am intending to reposition my tank but the ideal place is adjacent to a West facing window and the side of the tank will receive sunlight in the afternoon.
Is this a no no or could I get away with it?

personally ive had issues with that exact problem the tank in my profile pic had sun on the right side pane. i put some black background plastic card against it to stop the problem initially, then after a while i just kept that curtain closed.
however if you are happy to clean the glass every few days then its not a problem at all...[DOUBLEPOST=1407426897][/DOUBLEPOST]its more of a problem in the height of summer of course, on dreary cloudy days it wont be an issue.
