Have you never bought any live plants from people on here Harry ?
I find it best to wrap stems in moistened kitchen paper then in a waterproof bag (just stick sellotape on the end, leaving a bit of air in there). Then put in a jiffy bag. Thats the cheapest way. HOWEVER, following two successive lots of plants received in such poor condition that I had to chuck them, I will never buy any plants that do not get posted out in a container in future. Small chinese takeaway style flat containers are ideal.
