Hi all,

Wondering if someone can help with my powerhead placement in my tank?

I'm thinking here will be a good place to increase the flow, the filter outlet is top right corner and the inlet the bottom right corner. I think this will assist in the flow and also pointing towards the inlet should help the filter suck up more detritus?

Win win...... i think 🤔

As always i appreciate all your help

Thanks in advance 👍

I'm a bit out of touch on current practices they may have changed.
But the idea used to be to get the flow all going in the same direction. You want even movement all around the tank not rip tides.

@EA James ok, thank you. I’d be tempted to place it on the back wall, opposite end of tank to your filter outlet, pointing straight forward at the front glass. That way you have two pumping in the same direction to create flow t9 the front, down the front glass and back across the substrate.

@milla Thats what i thought, seems a bit of a stupid question now!!

@hypnogogia ok i'll try it, good thing is i can move it about and experiment with it, I've never used one before so thought i'd better ask

Cheers
