Pruning

Can I prune Rotala Blood Red. It getting quite long and scraggly looking. I would like to get it to bunch a bit if possible but worried it might loose it colour.

if conditions are good then trimming it shouldn't be an issue at all. you can be brutal when trimming rotala and it'll come back just as fast. trim the stems to leave 3-4 inch stumps then replant the tops if you want.

Thank you for the reply. I been tempted to give it a trim but kept looking at the red tips and worried they wouldn't come back.
