Just been working on some new features for UKAPS, and I have now enabled push notifications for supported devices.
When you visit the forum you will see a pop up asking if you want to enable push notifications:
Simply click on that and select Allow or Deny, if you select Allow you will get notifications for your active alerts on UKAPS.
This works on most mobile and desktop web browsers that have support for push notifications.
You can change the Push notifications any time, even if you disabled or enabled it, just go to Preferences on your profile (click your nickname on top right), and toggle enable/disable:
There is an extra option for notifications when you receive private messages.
NOTE: This is a configuration change per device you use to access UKAPS, so you can enable it on your Phone but not on your Desktop, or enabled on your Tablet but not on your Phone, or you can enable it on all devices but you must enable this on each device.
