Quick confirmation needed about shrimps

    Right i'm ordering now, crystal red shrimp.

    Whats the grades all about?

    ss??

    And the more i get the cheaper it is?

    The larger the white bands they have the higher the grade and the more expensive! ;)

    If you haven't kept shrimp before, or crystals before i would get a lower grade and see how they go first befoer spending millions of pounds on higher grades.

    Nah I'm fine with shrimp mate. Just don't think I could explain to the lady I spent about £200 on shrimp. That could be a new pair of shoes!!!!! :rolleyes: :lol:

    I purchased some grade B/A and today just spotted some shrimplets in my tank :)
    Have a look in my journal to see what these grades are like, I like them just as much as higher grades but would love some top range ;)

    Yeah but they're shrimp:/ I can get amano's for 2 quid each and they do the job, I can't justify near £20 for a shrimp :lol:

    Are cherry shrimp good at algae cleaning?

    Cherry Shrimp are excellent algae eaters, but most people don't keep CRS for algae eating. They're generally kept for their looks :rolleyes:

    After checking this guide my CRS are in fact grade A some close to S, so pretty happy for the price I paid for them! :)
