Hello Guys,

I was on travel and found a stream filled with red Cabomba (pls confirm ID) and they were flowering.

Collected it, transported it and now in my holding tank... :)

I may have got the ID wrong, also, I have never seen Cabomba flowers.

Cheers,

Karthik

Cabomba furcata it is.
Nice plant, but not as easy to grow as the C. carolineana and C. aquatica. It has a tendency to get less and less vital over time.
I've found, that C. furcata need considrrably more light, added CO2 and good fertilisation to do well for longer time. It also seem to need somewhat softer water, then the 2 mentioned.
Are these needs met, C. furcata can achieve an unbelievably exclusive, vibrant colouration............ very much worth the effort :thumbup:
