Hello people,
I am thinking to rescape my aquarium tank. It is an old Juwel Rio300.
A concern is the fact I scaped it in November 2020, and now, everything is a bit out of scape. As soil, I used ADA Amazonia ver2, and powersand L.
I will take out the fish and rescape, and I think reuse the soil, or do I put a new soil in it? It is 8 months old at the moment.
What would you advice? Rescape with the old soil, put the fish in a spare tank and maybe add some more new?
Or completely restart with new soil and new powersand?
If I would work with the old soil, is it dangerous to have a lot of waste side-products like amonia because of the fish poop etc, that fell in between the soil particles?
Greets,
