Looking great! 👍

Celestial Pearl Danio are fab and (depending on your temps) I just got some Vietnamese Mountain Minnows (or cardinal minnows if you prefer) Only put them in today but they are little beauty’s.😊

looking good mate, qiunquangulare is a tricky one as well.

Hello,as first thanks for all fish propositions! Also obtained in old lignite depots, peat bogs in Eastern Europe.it is called non-flammable soft carbon and has a number of excellent properties like this...-
  • acidifies the water, maintains a lowered pH, which varies depending on the amount of lignite used, experimentally even a pH of 5.7 was obtained
  • softens the water
  • secretes rich in minerals
For example, it can be stated that 1 kg of lignite contains the following amounts of chemical elements:
phosphorus (P) ..................... 10-20 mg
potassium (K) ................... 20-100 mg
magnesium (Mg) ............. 300-500 mg
calcium (Ca) ............. 1500-2500 mg
sulphate (SO4) .............. 10-20 mg
iron (Fe) ................... 10-30 mg
zinc (Zn) ....................... 2-5 mg
copper (Cu) ....................... 2-4 mg
molybdenum (Mo) ............... 0.1-1 mg
boron (B) ........................... 2-5 mg
(source aquarium.net.pl)
  • inhibits the spread of compounds that are toxic to plants and animals
  • in an appropriate concentration it inhibits the development of cyanobacteria of the genus Oscillatoria.

I have lignite in my all tanks as well.Under the substrate, in filters as a biological contribution to bacteria and as an ornament
It is worth asking in the UK, maybe a supplier will have it in stock too
