Hey.
Rescaped my 55l scapers tank recently, moved all the snails and shrimp to the 900. Started up this one as a bit of a test/chance to learn more about water, co2 and ferts etc.
The tank is being run on 100% rainwater and aiming to keep a tds of around 100ppm. I'll be trying a lean dosing approach, High co2 and full lighting. Just to see how the plants respond, hopefully some deficiencies show up so I can play about with ferts and try to understand why.
Dennerle scaper's 55l
Chihiros a plus rgb
Oase biomaster 250
Co2 by in tank diffuser
Frodo stone recently bought from @Andrew Butler
Manzanita
Tropica powder soil
Jbl volcano mineral
Tropica root tabs.
Ada la plata
DOOA River sand
Plantahunter baikal gravel
Plants. Most were taken from the 900 due to current problems.
Rotala H'ra
Rotala rotundifolia
Hygrophila pinnatifida
Hemianthus micranthemoides
Ludwigia sp super red
Buce sp red and kedagang
Anubias petite
Cryptocoryne (not sure on sp)
Small amount of eleocharis acicularis
Lights are on 100% and co2 is on high. Daily water changes with all this rain we're having at the moment. (well we're having rain whilst the rest of the country gets snow)
I've also stuck pinnatifida everywhere to see how it grows in different places in the tank.
