Seachem Purigen

Is this safe to use with Tetra Aquasafe?I have read that some products with a slime coat aid can render the Purigen toxic?

I had the same dilemma when i wanted to start useing purigen, I just played it safe and started useing seachem prime as i was near the end of Aquasafe bottle anyway, Plus prime is far more economical than tetra.
Sorry cant really answer your question, But maybe someone will know better,
