Should I put the roots in the soil.

Hey,

Should I put these two plants IN the substrate, leave them weighted down or let them float at the top?

The plants are on the left and right..... and oh... the names would be great as I have forgotten them..... again.

Hi lee, the left looks like limnophila sessiflora and the right looks like elodea, both are better actually rooted in the substrate but can be left floating
