Shrimp hunting Head-and-tail light Tetra

Yesterday i recieved a phone call from a fish keeping friend.. I once gave him Cherry shrimp and by now he had over 50.. But lately he bought a school of <Hemigrammus ocellifer> and a week later he counted 0 Cherry shrimp left. And i got the question did these fish eat all his shrimps?.

I have no idea, no experience with this Tetra sp.. I have had bigger Tetra sp. ignoring shrimp.. Also can't find any reports they have shrimps on their diet.

Anybody experience with this?
