Sick platy

My father in laws platy has gone off its food, and is looking a bit swollen with long white poop. I dont know if the swollen area looks like that because the fish has lost weight. Any ideas?...thinking parasite.

I would say the same as @dw1305 looks very much like camallanus. Esha ndx is also very good, but for a fish this heavily infested it may be too far gone to save. The internal damage these worms can do can be very bad in heavy infestations.

Ive euthanised.

I didn't see the point in trying to continue any more suffering trying to medicate. Especially seeing how far it had gone. Its a sad thing to do but part of the hobby i suppose.
