So I'm hoping this is the right section to post this query in...

Anyway, I've ordered a few of those small glass pots you see on ebay that have the suckers on the back of them.

The idea is to have these dotted around the back of my five foot low tech tank, with a variety of smaller/foreground plants which is where I'm running difficulty in deciding what might work.

I've got some Fluval stratum and dose Easylife Profito/liquid carbon daily but would appreciate hearing from anyone who's tried this before and/or just general ideas about what plants I should be looking at.

Well these are the ones I've ordered. They're actually acrylic but if they do well I might upgrade to the glass versions.

Have used these, and they are Great.
Plant wise there are loads you can try. Anything that trails works well. As well as Pond Marginals that spread out and cover.
My personal choice is creeping jenny and any hydrocotyle species.

And you can double them up as frozen food feeders.

Thanks for sharing... I’ve just ordered some too.

Think it’ll be fun to try some marginals as Gill suggested
