Snow?

Not as in the early 90's rapper...

Just wondering with all the snow around at present, how many/if any have used it as aquarium water. I'm currently using pure RO cut with a small amount of tap water when doing water changes. It's is working fine for me at present. The RO I get is normally around 15-20 tds. So I thought I'd test some snow...

Tds of 6, not bad. I know I'd need a lot, but I have been unable to get my water supply due to the snow. Do I top off with snow to try and keep the tds down in the tank?

theres a load down my street pissing me off if you want to come get it mate or nick the neighbours snowman.

Dont see any reason why you couldnt use it, it is effectively RO anyway.

Great idea, unfortunately we hardly ever get snow where I live but if we did I would love to give some to my shrimps & corys, I bet that would see them breeding like mad!

Will give it a go then I reckon as there's loads of untouched stuff in the garden.
