Hi I've got a quick question. Has anybody got this CO2 kit:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CO2-Complete-...QQptZUK_Pet_Supplies_Fish?hash=item20afee6071? Or can speak german and can give the instructions a quick look for me?

The instructions for how to set it up are in english except for the part I'm stuck on - the solenoid. I can't work out how to attach it or if it matters which way around it goes- do they have directionality or is there just a clamp mechanism in them? It has an arrow on it so should I just follow that?

Cheers for any help. I had a disturbing incident at work with a gas pressure valve going of and sounding like rapid machine gun fire that has made me pretty twitchy around gas bottles/regulators and the like. I think it says a lot about my tank obsession that I went and bought one for my home!

there should be an arrow on it showing which way the co2 should go.

Cool I wasn't sure if that was what it meant or not. Is it OK to use CO2 tubing to attatch it to the regulator? The connectors don't go together at all in any combination.

You can also connect the Regulator and the solenoid together without any tubing in between. That's what I did with mine using exactly the same kit ;)

JBL do a special connector that attaches to their regulator / solenoid valve - remove the connection from the regulator and screw in the threaded section - the other end attached to the existing connection on the solenoid valve - this makes all items removeable now
