If I were to scoop up some duckweed from a nearby pond, how could I make it safe to put in my aquarium. Could I swish it around in some potassium permanganate?

Duckweed from a local pond can result in Hydra sneaking in and other nasties.. Rather don't risk that, ask and find a forum member in the wanted section of this forum, willing to send you some duckweed nursed in an aquarium. The P&P are much cheaper than a bottle of that crapy stuff you rather shouldn't use as well if not realy absolutely nessecary..
