Hi,

Does anyone know what is that? šŸ˜³

Iā€™ve just found it in my tank hidden between plants during maintenance.

Iā€™m presuming it might be some kind of algae but iā€™m not 100% sure.

If thatā€™s a plant iā€™ll definitely keep it as it looks pretty cool :)

I think I got rid off it during scooping.

Damn!

šŸ˜

But thanks for replies anyway.

I was too careful about not to scoop young shrimplets with were hanging around floating cuts of monte carlo.

Correct spelling is SĆ¼sswassertang. The use of the ā€œbā€ come from the German use of ā€œĆŸā€œ , but the correct alternative to that is ā€œssā€.
True enough, I gave up on that a while ago though šŸ™‚ Had to choose between technically correct or using one of the spellings people are more likely to use and search for.
"Subwassertang" is how the americans tend to spell it, bless their sweet hearts, because german is a very exotic language for them šŸ˜
As far as I know, Christel Kasselmann who originally discovered the "plant" doesnt support calling it SĆ¼sswassertang or any variation thereof.
Personally I also prefer the latin name, but not as many people know it šŸ™‚
