Stranger things mould?

I'm currently a few weeks into a dry start planted carpet in my tank. Light is on 8-9 hours a day, listing with gassed off tap water every day, clingfilm on the kid to keep it damp. No wonder I've started a Petrie dish of mould.
Anything I should be worried about? Patch of mould was on face of tank, about 4 inches across. Away from substrate at least.

I have since wiped it several times with hydrochloric acid. Good or bad? Anything else?

No wonder I've started a Petrie dish of mould.

It looks like a <"Slime Mould"> and nothing to worry about.
