hi all i am in the process of creating my first planted tank it will be low tech and substrate is the major concern for me
it has to be low cost also
i will not be using co2 but will use fertilzers sparsely my light is 1 54w t5 bulb
sorry my tank is a 4 foot 55 gal. my original plan was to use ordinary compost with a layer of sand will this be ok thank you
