    Hi

I've seen some good priced sumatran driftwood on ebay that i would like to use in my new discus tank. Does it need soaking? If so, for how long? Also, will it create a tea stain effect like unsoaked bogwood?

Some pieces need a clean but not a long soak.
Best to soak it in hot water first but my pieces never leeched anything.

I have a couple of medium pieces. Initially they did leech a little tanin, but not a massive amount. They pretty much sank from the off :)
