Hello, I've had my 11gallon set up for about 5 months now and my e tennelus is HUGE around 20cm tall in places and I cant to change it out for something a bit more dainty since the e tennelus' size makes my tank look even smaller than it already did.
what could I use as a replacement?
here's a plan of what my tank "should" look like when I'm done

I was considering dwarf hairgrass but I don't know which species and how well it will take to fill in. I don't want to cause another algae battle by replacing such a large biomass

Hi Garuf,
Sorry I missed this post. You may have already made your mind up by now but I was thinking the standard Glosso or HC would do nicely here. They are each small enough to keep perspective in that size tank but HC like CO2 so you have to keep that in mind. I think the best would be P. helferi though. A really nice plant to fill in the space and it is really low maintenance.

Cheers,
