Hi guys I filled my tank for the first time after completing the hard scape. I did not wash the sand the gravel the rocks or pre-soak the wood. I have an inch or so of dirt, capped with 2 to 3 inches of gravel. After filling the tank I would assume I would be left with a dirty swampy mess, however it’s almost perfectly clear? The tank can be seen in the journal section, I was under the assumption I will be doing daily water changes for weeks to clear it

Here is a picture, on a side note how long will this wood need to soak until it sinks?

Depends on which type of wood and size.
Some take longer than others Manzinatia a few days to a week.
Redmoor/Spider/Bogwood may take a couple of weeks.
