there is a fair bit more in there!

40 cardinals
3 SAE
5 ottos
6 dwarf/chain loaches
6 pigmy cories
pair of dwarf goramies
a plec
an upsidedown catfish (from old tank)

This is nothing! You can certainly add some more pygmy cories.

That's a really lovely tank, Baron. If I can do anything approaching this on my first go, I'll be well chuffed

thanks, i look back at the first pics and think just how bad it looked! altho at the time i was over the moon with it! :0/
hopefully that feeling will continue as the tank improves and evolves and as my experience increases.
one thing its made me realize tho, is i don't have a single artistic bone in my body!!

and good luck when you finally get yer arms wet paul! :D

another picture, not too much has changed, loving the blyxa. not loving the right hand side of the tank at the mo!

You need a few rocks in there and more wood ;)
i agree totally.
currently i'm still trying different plants and learning to get the best out of them etc.
i'm slowly building myself up to doing a more of a "scape"
it seems i can grow plants and keep it all pretty algae free, that seems to be the easy part tho! ;0)
