The Fully Loaded Lasagne Dish!

As requested from an earlier thread, here's some photos!
Please don't be offended if you have an elegant glass growing tray, it's seeing those that inspired me to have a go & a dusty unused lasagne dish seemed a good thing to repurpose.
Plants are :-
Lilaeopsis brasiliensis
Hydrocotyl leucocephala
Hygrophila poysperma
Unknown fern
A variety of drosera
Somewhere in there is a piece of wood covered in moss.
Other plants include a tiny buce & an emersed grown crypt. There are also tip cuttings from Bacopa monnieri & Rotala rotundifolia which are starting to emerge from the green. Maybe if I'm lucky they will flower next year! 😊

Very nice. However, those are dishes for Tater Tots Hotdish - a Minnesota original (according to lore).

A 'Tater' what now? . . . Nah wrong side of the pond, you gotta think more 'limey' @MichaelJ - think cottage pie/shepherds pie/Lancashire hot-pot (possibly lasagne)! 😂

I think the fern is a Nephrolepis sp. ( and possibly N. cordifolia). You may need a <"bigger lasagne dish">.

I'd take that over lasagne any day! I do so little cooking that I should repurpose some of my stuff though it won't look that good! Do you keep it on a windowsill or is it artificially lit?
Definitly glad you mentined the dish!

The dish sits on an east facing windowsill with no artificial lighting. I mist it occasionally, more so when it was very hot. Then just keep the water topped up several times a week to keep everything humid as it's open, easy really!

Debating whether to risk it on a south west facing windowsill, or will I end up with boiled plants?!

It would probably be ok this time of the year as the sun isn't very bright but towards next summer you may need to consider some kind of screen if it becomes too hot.
