Well i have a spare tank, which i cant set up due to space (grr) so ive decided that im going to do an emersed setup, and then come spring time its going in the garden and housing some White cloud mountain minnows and cherry shrimps.....
Strange aproach to it but hopefully it will work out well.
The plan is to use entirely uk native mosses and hardscape that cost me nothing... the tanks itself is a horrible chape but it cost me £4 so i cant really complain ;)
So yeh, planting up with mosses and other plants that grow local to me, let it grow, flood it, leave it.
If i decide to not flood it, it will stay as an emersed setup so i can stil make a journal of it ;)

sounds like a nice idea, I like the native theme... what about native fish though? or even shrimp???

how big is the tank?

good luck

Chris

Its 25l...
Im not aware of any uk native freshwater shrimps....
Im not sure if fish are an option due to the small size... Could try some snails though :)
