    Hi guys,

My Crypt wendtii's have gone a bit mental and are overgrown somewhat.

How do you guys go about maintaining this plant? Just pull the leafs off or do something a little less brutal? I'm amazed at the site they will grow to in height as well as width.

    All comments welcome!

    Hi,
Yes, just lop off whatever leaves you don't want from the base. Easy as pie.

    Cheers,

I tend to pull individual leaves off from the base. Hold the leaf, run your finger down the stem to the base so that you are pushing down on the centre of the rosette and thereby stopping the plant from coming out of the substrate, then give the leaf a swift tug and it should come out pretty easy.
