I'm currently having a tank built and should be ready this or next week, so I'm just compiling my plant list I have most sorted but I'm stuck on wether to choose V. nana or V. spiralis 'tiger'. I prefer the look of nana but the tank is 20" (50cm) tall and I'd like the leaves to run across the surface a little and I'm not sure nana grows this tall.

Can anyone tell me if they now nana can grow to arround 2ft?

When I grew vallis it never stopped growing! 2ft should be attainable with good conditioned plants.

I doubt you'll have any problems getting it to grow that tall - you could probablly even grow it double that size without any issues!
