Variances in CO2 diffusers.. Is there any?

Hi all

I have a "nano" in tank Co2 diffuse in my 60P aquarium currently, from CO2Art:

It's working great but I have a suspicion that it's too small for my aquarium as I've seen people saying 2CM wide is needed for a 60P.

Does this matter? I was thinking that it wouldn't diffuse fast enough for the amount of CO2 I'm putting into it and could be causing my BBA issues?

I was looking to replace it with:

This looks bigger but maybe that means nothing..

Or should I just get an inline? I am concerned about these as people seem to have mixed reviews on here about them and the ceramic ones seem to work well for me...

As long as it's working for you it's fine :) - you want a fine mist of CO2 bubbles for improved dissolution of CO2 into the water.
You might try placing your drop checker at various point about the aquarium to check that it's registering similar CO2 levels throughout the tank; allow at least 2-4 hours for each "measurement" ... how quickly does your drop checker respond to CO2 "on"/"off" ?

To be honest my drop checker is green even in the morning even though my CO2 goes off 2 hours before lights out... I aerate overnight by means of raising my lily pipe but it never seems enough. Perhaps I should be turning it off a further hour sooner?

try changing out your drop checker solution (new bottle), also place a white card behind when judging color ... though in a way, this is a relief, I was wondering how algae had gotten such a hold in your tank with a lime green drop checker indicating relatively high CO2 levels.
