i am going to make a little wabi kusa soon and woundered what plants are suitable ie what plants can be grown emmersed without having to be moist all the time? i can give them a spray every day though.

i have searched all over but cant find much information about this

any help would be great

Among common aquarium plants swordplants (Echinodorus sp.) actually grow better with lower humidity as emersed plants. Java fern will also do fine in drier conditions once they are adapted to growing emersed. There are many pond marginal-type plants that grow as emergents that would work too, although you would need to take care to find short-statured varieties.

Most will have to be kept fairly damp, but I have grown Java moss, HC, and Dwarf Hairgrass in a Wabi Kusa.

Come on Tom, lets see your efforts! I remember them from UKAF and they were awesome!
