I recently noticed the ingredients on Snow Flakes shrimp food is 100% bio soy bran. Snow flakes make neos and Caridina shrimp alike absolutely flock to the food. But seeing as it's $25 for 30 grams, of course I am looking into making my own. A couple of sellers state that it is soybean skin, but not sure what part of a soybean would even be considered the "skin." Anyone fooled around with rolling your own? Thanks!

Haven't done it myself but there are a few tutorials out there on how to make it and depending if you plan to use the soy beans for human consumption after de husking then you could always fortify with extras for the benefit of the shrimp.

Thank you! I will Google further, thus far most every result was for the brand of food. My girlfriend eats edamame like I eat popcorn, would be interesting to see if I could extract shrimp food from her "waste bowl." We just boil and salt it, and salt is easy enough to get off of the soy... Hmm
