What type of output do you use for canisters?

What type of output do you use? What do you think is the best for even flow, mozzarella butterflieees (sorry, couldn't resist the cheesy reference )?
I have spraybars, but have read lately on here that they aren't the best for distribution/distribute flow too weakly.
Any thoughts on this?

I'm using a DIY spraybar running the full length of the tank (130cm/360L) and it's really good for distributing ferts and co2 (using "inline" reactor).
It's really easy to adjust the direction of the flow, having it pointed slightly upward to the surface, where it bounces of, goes to and down the front glass, and then over the bottom and to the background.
I think this is by far the best solution in most situations.
Filter is Eheim 2080.
