Hi everyone,
Had this tank set up and running for a bit now, livestock is 2 cherry shrimp and one nerite snail...and a growing population of some form of flatworm. However, I can't decide whether I should be concerned about them being planaria or whether they are harmless.
They seem to really love the one spot (from the photo) but then are sporadically dotted around the glass elsewhere, but very much concentrated to the one area pictured.
Are these planaria? I can;t see a shovel shaped head or eyes, but wonder if that is because they are too small currently, or whether they are just another type of flatworm? Don't look like detritus worms and aren't present in the soil substrate either.
Apologies for the not great photo, quite hard to get them in focus.
Thanks in advance.
M
