When duckweed takes over

Hi, due to travel I've been lapsing a week and some on maintenance. So, doing my maintenance yesterday I found this in both my tanks; the whole surface completely overgrown with duckweed and frogbit - I did notice that the light levels in my tanks was a bit on the low side when I came back Friday
The duckweed was introduced with some plants I bought not too long ago, so they are not there deliberately - but I kind of like some, but not this much!... What I did to get rid of a lot (most) of the duckweed was to net everything from the surface (duckweed and frogbit) and rinse the duckweed off of every frogbit and put most of the frogbit back in the tanks. I know the duckweed is going to be back eventually... not much I can do about that I suppose.

Cheers,
Michael
