I have a 12L 25 cube which currently has a "banana LED" that came with another set up. Actually a good light for this aquarium, but with the fundamental flaw that it must be switched on manually via the button on the top.
The timer can switch off because it is simply cutting the power to the light, but the next day when the timer switched the power back on, the light will not come on without a person pressing the button. Its therefore useless for when I go away for a week.
I'm conscious that many of the small lights, including Twinstar and Chihiros (without App) all seem to have a button to cycle through the various light modes and therefore will presumably have the same issue where I can't use a timer?
Any advice please?
