Hi,

Had a change in direction over my lights. Changing my MV's.

My aquarium is 60"L x 22"W x 24"H.

I cannot for the life of me make my mind up which lights to go for! So after opinions from others.

Really its about aesthetics that I cant make my mind up over. All the lights will do the job.

So here are the three candidates I want to choose from:

1)
Geisemann Reflexx Nano X 2 (in silver)

2)
Geisemenn Reflexx 6 x 54W T5's (same as picture but in black)

3)
Geisemann Nova II X 2 (in black)

Any opinions to help me choose would be much appreciated.

To give you a better informed opinion we could do with seeing your tank, cabinet and living space surrounding. An overtank light unit is part of the furniture, so in my view, should match your surroundings as well as possible.

On their own merit I prefer the first model.

Hi thanks for the imput George. I do like the first lights also. But keep changing my mind! :? :? :?

Your right about seeing the aquarium and surround. So have added some quick pictures. I dont know if silver pendants or black would best suit. With all the rest being black dont know if black pendants will be too much. Dont want to make the wrong decision.

Again opinions welcome.

What about the ATI power module, which has active cooling and out performs many other brands in terms of maintaining PAR quality.

Ofcourse you dont want the amount of life that the reef dudes go for, but they rate these highly for quality and maintaing output. Passive cooling is not as effective at controlling light temps and too high temps affect the light out put. Have to say though for planted tanks it is not as critical bcause they can adapt better than say hard corals. So dont eorry about that.

Anyway I have bought two of these for my new project, they look good and well made. They are also not badly priced.
