I have heard that this can be caused by low trace elements. I'd suggest upping your trace levels for 3 weeks and seeing what effect it has. Maybe add 50% more. Lets see what other suggestions you get!...

I have just finished reading up on your thread of white leaves.....you didn't seem to come to any positive answers on this...how is the one on the wood doing?

hi Mfcphil,

All i could put it down to was a weaker plant strain, i think i did separate the specimen as an experiment, but it just melted away.

regards,

Dan.

Was it found to be a lack of anything on your part? Ferts I mean

I have five plantlets showing the same white leaves....They were all bought from the same outlet at the same time.

I had the same, upped my trace and it cleared.

I will add that I was cutting back to see how little I needed to put in.

Do you add dry ferts or do you make up a solution?
How much do you use

40 UK Gallon tank I do the following.

Potassium Nitrate
20g to 500ml for the solution
dosage = 25ml 6 times per week
ppm 32.63

Potassium Phosphate
3g to 500ml for the solution
dosage = 25ml 6 times per week
ppm 4.30

Trace
5g to 250ml for the solution
dosage = 10ml 6 times per week
ppm 6.10

Mon - dose
Tue - dose
Wed - dose
Thur - dose
Fri - dose
Sat -dose
Sun - water change

If this is wrong could do with pointing in the right direction

Sam so your saying change it to

Trace
10g to 250ml for the solution
dosage = 10ml 6 times per week

Already giving 10ml per day

Bought it from Fluid Sensor

Bottle simply called trace....If I wanted to keep the amount to 10ml in the dose how much Trace do I need in the original 250ml
