Thanks for the link. It did help in the sense that it improved my understanding of the chemistry of dissolved CO2. It doesn't, however, discuss CO2 toxicity to fish, etc. Of particular interest is that the authors also use a gas exchange membrane as shown in Fig. 3 of the document. This is the same principle that I use in my modified pH meter. It is also the same principle adopted by John Severinghaus and Freeman Bradley in November 1958 for determination of oxygen and carbon dioxide concentration in blood. Not everybody knows that.
