I've been noticing that they are a lot of uneaten baby brine shrimp making their way into the substrate, rather than making their way to the filter inflow. Will this cause any long-term cynobacteria/algae problems inside the substrate?
I dont know but I accidentally added about 2000 too many a couple of months ago and no obvious adverse effects. If you have catfish, loaches etc they'd grub most out anyway I would think?
