    Hi all,
As the title says does anyone know how to remove the album library from WMP11.
I have lots of duplicate tracks.I have deleted the My Music folder. After i have removed the library i will replace it from a external hardrive.
This is very frustrating, cant find correct info anywhere. OP system is Windows 7.

On Win XP you have to stop a service, then you can delete the files which contain the WMP11 library , and restart the service. After that WMP11 rebuilds a new library.

I expect it will be similar on Windows 7.

    Hi Matt
Got it sorted now,all deleted had to go into the Computer C drive settings.
Users/your name/AppData/Local/Microsoft/Media Player open, scroll to Current Database_000 right click delete.
    Bingo.
    Must log this somewhere.
    Cheers
