When discussing or refering to UKaps, how do you pronounce it? Is it U-Kaps or U-K-a-p-s? Whilst we're on the subject ,how do you say ADA? Is it pronounced arder or aider or just A-D-A? When we discuss stuff on here and other forums I bet we all pronounce things differently, the latin names of plants is a minefield, likewise fish - cichlid anyone! I bet we can all come up with a lot more to add to the list, I don't suppose it matters how we all say things in the end, but if there are any experts out there in the use of the Queen's English then please share your knowhow in this thread. Please feel free to add more examples to the list even if we don't agree on how to say them. :?

UKAPS - U-kaps

ADA - A-D-A

Cichlid - sick-lid (wouldn't believe that variations u get on this working in an LFS, chil-lids, chitch-lids, sitch-lids etc)

Riccia - rick-ia
