Organisms like Plants are just like complex self replicating high tech machine. However in order for them to function properly they need substances. We can't build a robot out of thin air do we?? In case of plants these substances we called fertiliser which include nitrogen, carbon, phosphorus...

Building are built by bricks, in plants carbon dioxide are the building blocks. If building material are abundant then building speed will be faster. If plants got lots of co2, it will grow faster. Of course plants also need other building block such as nitrate to build protein, phosphate...

Normally corner part have less light compare to other parts of tank. I think you do not need to increase your light, just trim it and apply mechanical manipulation by pressing it down. Sent from my MX4 using Tapatalk

Actually most plant can thrive under higher temperature. My tank maintain at 28 to 29. Although there are some algae, but most algae are grow on headscape instead of plants. However algae on headscape really annoying Sent from my MX4 using Tapatalk
