With all due respect, I don't think so. Why is that such a mistake?

It's hrad to say, if it will be sufficient because we don't know your water parameters. Maybe yes, maybe not. At least, I recomend you to buy NO3 a PO4 test kits (JBL if possible) and measure it. Try to keep your nitrate level 10-30 ppm and phosphate level 0,2-3 ppm and you'l be fine.

What's the tank size? What lights do you use? What about CO2? Too much light and insufficient CO2 supply is often the problem in case of hair algae bloom.

Hi, I'd try to get more fertilizer into tank water and CO2 in your case. I had the same problem. I increased an amount of CO2 gas in the tank and problem was solved. But in your case, I'd try to add KH2PO4 into your tank too.

I agree with master for 100%. My tank looked like cesspit firstly, but I learned and I am quite successful now.
