i cant really help with the bubble rate. my lunapet solenoid broke after a day, and for a few days till i bought my aqua medic one i was just shutting off the main valve on the bottle. are you able to do that? or wont you be present to do so? just an idea.

i really like this tank, rocks look nice and the layout is great. plants look really lush too, i especially like the foreground, and the valley between the rocks. love it! :thumbup: could you list the livestock please?

i use ehiem classics on the majority of my tanks, there great value for money, do a great job while being very simple. there damn quiet to. ive got 2x2217s, 1x2215 and 2x2213's. just make sure you look at the + models, as you get the double taps ect that you'll need.

indeed prices are much better. ive only used them for around a year so maybe i missed any changes! i bought 4x 58w 5foot tubes recently for about £3.60. and i think the last LFS bulb i got was a 15 watt 18" for £26.99. lamspecs was a great website to find :D

postage from lamspecs is no more than any other online retailer you would buy from, ive bought 2, 3, and 5 bulbs and postage is always just a few quid. id recommend lamspecs to anyone, great prices, why pay £26.99 for a bulb when they sell the same one for £2.75? as for which bulb is best you...

co2 tank > regulator > solenoid > Check Valve > Bubble counter > Diffuser. so yes, it sounds like you just need a co2 supply i have no clue how good/bag that product is but it looks like the tool for the job.

ok so yesterday i got a new solenoid valve, aqua medic one and its working fine and all is good with that :D i also got the powerhead yesterday and fitted that just below the spray bar to help with flow, its the hydor 1600 nano and to be honest i thought it would have been to much for this tank...
