Btw: ensure you ask for food grade cO2 for hydroponics and aquatic plant growth. They would obviously usually supply the argon gas version for welding! :-)
For anyone looking for cO2 near Brighton I found Eltham Welding Supplies who can get cylinders and refills from Adams gas. I can't believe it... Finally a local supplier. I'm over the moon. Never knew one could get so excited by a bottle of gas! Their contact details are:

Anyone tried this? Looks interesting... Lots of good reviews.

Was going to buy a spare Qanvee and noticed this! Always like a spare. ;-)...
Same here! I'm in Brighton and get fe's from eBay. There are various options such as Adams Gas and Aldd Ltd that deliver to the south coast. But this seems like a faff with delivery etc. Would be nice to take my fe's somewhere for filling instead!
Tried the JBL inline (again). It's awful... Why did I try! Back with the good old Qanvee and have a nice mist!
I saw this today... Looks a bit like the Qanvee! Might be interesting if anyone has tried it yet...
Got a Qanvee from AliExpress. Think it's much nicer than the Up because:
- It's mostly made from metal.
- Seems that it doesn't require such a high PSI.
- You can clearly see the gas building up in the atomizer and clearing the water when the gas flow starts.
- Generally cheaper.

I've recently gone high tech and purchased a co2 art dual stage regulator.
Only about 3 days shipping from Germany, so not bad.
Really good quality and absolutely no problems.
Cheers.
Mmmm... Got home today with the bubbles going mad and drop checker bright yellow. Turned it up too much! Maybe the new atomiser needed to be broken in... Anyway all set to a reasonable level now and all is good!
Cheers

When I got home today I thought of something that I didn't try before... I switched off the solenoid then adjusted the pressure. It them seems to go up to almost 40psi. On previous occasions I would adjust it while it was running. So looks ok as far as that's concerned now I think:
The other...
Hi MattW
This is the one I have:
https://www.co2art.eu/collections/co2-regulators/products/pro-se-series-aquarium-co2-dual-stage-regulator-with-integrated-solenoid
Notice there it says that I can get up to 40psi. Should a 2kg FE produce this?
Thanks
Will.
Hi
I'm currently using a 2KG FE and I can get a maximum of about 35psi with my CO2 Art regulator by turning it right up to maximum.
Just wondered if this was normal? It's not a problem, it's just that I expected to be able to produce a higher pressure than this...
Thanks
Will.
Switched over from the Neo in tank to an inline diffuser.
I actually had three diffusers. They were a JBL and Up Aqua (both of which I used on my old aquarium) and a new Up Aqua that I recently purchased from Ebay.
Interestingly I tried the JBL and my old Up Aqua and they weren't quite right...
