Air Stones?

Hi everybody

I need a little bit of advice?

I'm looking for a ceramic air stone that will deliver tiny bubbles, the smaller the better?

They're required for a modified protein skimmer (this is for a saltwater aquarium). I'd post this question on a saltwater aquarium forum but I'm certain that freshwater enthusiasts will be a lot more knowledgeable in this area, seeing as I've read some people use them for co2 etc.

I've been using limewood air stones but they don't last long so would like something that lasts a lot longer.

I'd purchase boss hog or sweetwater air stones but they're not available in the UK and don't fancy waiting a month or so for shipping.

Any ideas?

Thank you

What planted tank people use for diffusing CO2 are not regular air stones.
The pores are much finer and require very high pressure to push the gas
through hence the use of a pressurised CO2 cylinder and regulator, or at
least a yeast reactor. And they need cleaning from time to time by soaking in
a bleach solution, unless they will get clogged.

I don't think they will practically work for your purpose (unless you use
an air compressor).
