tmc grobeam co2 tnc+ with extra bba

Re: 70l 2tf learning curve Ahh right. Its not the way I do it as it looks unatural and usually makes the leaves go a little yellow and bruised around the cut. Just my experience though mate and that's why I just pull any off that get too long.

tmc grobeam co2 tnc+ with extra bba

Re: 70l 2tf learning curve Cut the tops off? You should remove the longest leaves from the bottom of the plant and allow the others to grow tall and then repeat.

    Home Bargains tank...

Quick udate. Tank has changed quite a lot. Scrounged some gravel from another tank to see if it looked better and found it to my liking so i have stuck with it. Hardscape has changed aswell... Gone with a small branchy bit of wood. It has some narrow leaved java fern attatched to it. Also...

    Home Bargains tank...

Thanks Callum. The tank was a private sale, but all credit to the seller he is going to refund me my money. Antipofish, the gravel looks bigger than it actually is, but I am considering replacing it with some brown dennerle stuff. Light is now on a timer too for 8 hours a day.

Hey Antipofish. Plan sounds good mate. But i am thinking of going with rock? Probably Lava Rock. Unfortunately the Spec arrived broken, so i am on the hunt for a replacement. Hi Ady, thanks for the swift reply. I really like the idea of it being used as a bedside lamp... Wonder what the missus would make of that? Was considering HC, but how would i upgrade the light? Which species of Anubias and Fern would you suggest then? I also have some Flourish Excel...

    What fish do you rate

Trigonostigma Espei would be perfect imo. You could fit a nice shoal in that sized tank. Basically a smaller version of Harlequin Rasbora's (Hence the name 'false') And maybe some kind of Shrimp just to add a little movement to the lower levels.

    Harrassed to death. Really?

If you're happy with 3 Gourami's then try and rehome 2 of the males and replace with 2 females. DG's can be evil when they get a bee in their bonnet. If you want more then try 1 male and 3 females. On another point, why not consider Honey Gourami's instead. Far less potential health issue's...

Could i have an I.D. please?

Just wondering if anyone knew what this was? It's a stem of some sort and it apears to have a different leaf shape that is actually attatched to the plant... The bushy little plant at the front of the Elodea. Thanks. DSC02318 by David Raynham, on Flickr

    All Pond Solutions 240L Tank

As long as your happy them thats fine. I have found with mine that if i move them within the same tank they're fine... but if i swap them from tank to tank then thats when the melt starts. What watt for 88 litre tank?

Hi there. Considering setting up a small co2 system on my 88 litre tank and was wondering what light would be best to make the most of the carbon? Preferably a T5 bulb as thats what starter i have on it atm. lol. Many thanks, David.
