Re: 70l 2tf learning curve Ahh right. Its not the way I do it as it looks unatural and usually makes the leaves go a little yellow and bruised around the cut. Just my experience though mate and that's why I just pull any off that get too long.

Yeah i noticed the price hike too... typical. Should have brought 5 and stashed them in the loft. lol. Wendtii Brown has been replaced with Blyxa and the wood has been switched around as suggested. :D Will get a couple of pics soon.

Quick udate. Tank has changed quite a lot. Scrounged some gravel from another tank to see if it looked better and found it to my liking so i have stuck with it. Hardscape has changed aswell... Gone with a small branchy bit of wood. It has some narrow leaved java fern attatched to it. Also...

Thanks Callum. The tank was a private sale, but all credit to the seller he is going to refund me my money. Antipofish, the gravel looks bigger than it actually is, but I am considering replacing it with some brown dennerle stuff. Light is now on a timer too for 8 hours a day.

Trigonostigma Espei would be perfect imo. You could fit a nice shoal in that sized tank. Basically a smaller version of Harlequin Rasbora's (Hence the name 'false') And maybe some kind of Shrimp just to add a little movement to the lower levels.

If you're happy with 3 Gourami's then try and rehome 2 of the males and replace with 2 females. DG's can be evil when they get a bee in their bonnet. If you want more then try 1 male and 3 females. On another point, why not consider Honey Gourami's instead. Far less potential health issue's...

As long as your happy them thats fine. I have found with mine that if i move them within the same tank they're fine... but if i swap them from tank to tank then thats when the melt starts. I would move them now to where you want them so they can get established once and for all. Less change of...
