I've already solved the problem now by using the tap on the outflow to reduce the flow, cheers for the suggestion anyway :)

Lovely tank jack, i bet them puffers are loving it too :) I see you didn't use a heater? My tank temp is around 21C constantly with not much fluctuation, would puffers survive in this? I've also been looking at the fluval edge 25w heaters, nice little things.

Ok guys, so you might remember my previous tank 'Nature's River'. After lots of neglect and poor maintenance the tank got into a very bad state. Algae took over and my plants started to rot leaving me with a brown tank. Also my lights failed a few weeks back meaning the plants had no light at...

I'd go with the coarse, with your tank being much larger than mine, im sure it should look fine ;) I'm not fond of sand imo but thats just me :D

Re: Nature's River By Harry Robinson (Update Pics) Well, my riccia is showing now signs of melting at all, in fact its thriving and growing like no body's business haha! I tried a spraybar some time back and it blew my substrate everywhere so that is a definate no no ;)

The sand you've linked us to there skeleton is called Unipac maui sand, i have it and it looks great IMO :thumbup: But really, PLASTIC plants on an Aquatic PLANT forum? Not really mate haha, ive seen a few scapes that look totally outstanding with plastic plants :lol:
