That is really cheap. Used to be more expensive, like 30£ per set 3 years ago and the quality was crap although did the job.
It could all have changed apparently.
So we will try to make maybe 2 sets and test it to see... Cost wise the price is almost the same. Glass price is a very little fraction of the manufacturing process. Or thats what we are told by the blowers :)
We will be able to get these shortened lilies, now awaiting measurements from George.
I will be ordering a set for myself ;)
Thanks George again for a great idea
Hehe. Imho the best thing to cure that roblem is not to think about the leaking filters.
If you google any problem in the world you will find it for sure. Someone somewhere had it leaking broken etc...
The majority will be fine though.
So far i have used at least 10 filters and the only one I...
Nothing compares to the sexy look of glass Luis ;)
I can really see the point with shalllow tanks becoming more and more popular.
View from the open top of a planted tank with some wood out of the tank is one of my favorites.
Hi people. Thanks for your input. Mmm, looking at used fluval 105 on ebay at the moment. Dont really want to build, especially for 30£ when the same money can buy a used one. Its for my friend and the money is an issue. Will have a look at AC as well.
2213 let it be then... I dont like tetratecs connections, they are really fragile and 600lph would be a bit too much. Many thanks  I am after the second hand really, will have a look on ebay.
Hi, looking for a small external for the 25l tank. about 400lph. Was looking at fluval 105 but dont really like the build quality of fluvals. Any advice?
Hi, i am using the same filter for a year and am happy with it. It actually was a second hand so it has to be about 3 years old at least. The hoses are standard (12/16). Its silent, maintenance is quite easy. Have not measured the real flow though. Build quality is good, i'd compare it to...
The lily pipes were designed actually for positioning them on the side, both inlet and autlet. Actually even the distance from the water surface of the inlet is very important to give you a vortex effect which should eliminate the surface scum problem. The bottom of the intake has to be...
ye, thats what i am after, minimalistic look,no equipment at all in the tank. This return pipe is called locline. I have pmd tom, hope to get some advice from him as well.
Anyway the setup probably will start only in may.
Ok that makes it more clear for me. Thanks a lot.
Would be great to see the actual photos of underneath the cabinet of the similar system if anyone has them, or a link to a guide.
Hello. I am planning to do 100G optiwhite in my office and whanted to make it a bottom drilled tank.
I wanted to do something like this:

The question is how these inlets are called, (the autlets are called locline as far as i know) and where...
